Bret Michaels, says Was Not Faking on Rock of Love

Bret Michaels Wasn't Faking It on 'Rock of Love'

Rock of Love remains one of the highest-rated shows on VH1. The show's star, Bret Michaels, believes the reality series has been very successful because it has truthfully depicted him and the life he leads. "When you're doing a reality show, you're not an actor," Michaels told the The Post Standard in a phone interview. "I was being me. And I think that was the reason it was the No. 1 (reality-TV) show for three weeks running. People smell that this is a real reality show. My life in the course of a day runs many emotions. I get up in the morning, take my insulin and go. The show became part extreme dating and part survival."On the July premiere of Rock of Love, 25 eligible women were introduced to Bret Michaels. Week after week, the 44-year-old frontman subjected the ladies to different challenges, with the most recent being a photo shoot for an album cover. Now, only five women are left, and Michaels has been very coy about which of the women ultimately captured his heart. "It came down to a bittersweet battle between two I was crazy about," Michaels said. "I have to leave it at that." Although he was tight-lipped about who won the competition, he did say that his two favorite episodes were the ones that featured motocross riding and football. "My two greatest hobbies," Bret Michaels told the The Post Standard. "I have to give the girls this great nod of credit. They were great sports about everything. It's not like they had a stunt double. You ride. Two got hurt pretty bad, unfortunately. It was pretty wild." As Rock of Love nears its season finale, Michaels is busy doing a nationwide tour with his rock band, Poison. Coincidentally, the tour is also about to come to an end, with their final show on September 3 at the HiFi Buys Amphitheater. The tour, which Michaels described as Poison's “biggest production in 21 years,” has been stopping by various cities in the country in order to promote their latest 13-track album, Poison'd, which was released early this summer.

Baby & Season 2 for Scott Baio

Scott Baio is still 45, but will he be single for long? VH-1 is hoping that you'll be curious enough to tune into a second season of "Scott Baio is 45... and Single," the former teen heartthrob's reality show.
At the end of the first season, Baio had proposed to girlfriend Renee. In turn, she dropped the bomb that our dear Chachi (yes, I know he hates that) was going to be a daddy.
Expect season 2 to be filled with fears of marriage and impending fatherhood, which will include Renee's 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, says the
Hollywood Reporter.
Production on the nine-episode season will begin this fall. There's no word on when the second season might premiere. -- Rachel Cericola

Complete List of 20 Past & Present WWE Wrestlers Listed as Steroid Clients

Complete List Of 20 Past & Present Wrestlers Listed As Signature Clients

To recap, all in all, 20 past and present WWE wrestlers were listed as being clients of the busted Signature Pharmacy in Orlando. Of the 20 listed, 15 of them are currently contracted to WWE.

Three are deceased (Brian Adams, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero), one was recently released (Sylvain Grenier), and another wrestler was on the verge of being signed this week, if he hasn't already (Johnny Stamboli).

While not 100% official, the following ten wrestlers listed appear to be the wrestlers most likely to have been suspended by WWE after Sports Illustrated revealed that every single one of them purchased drugs over the Internet through Signature Pharmacy after the institution of the WWE Wellness Policy in February 2006 - a clear violation of the policy. WWE suspended 10 wrestlers today based upon information received in the Signature bust, though not necessarily these wrestlers.

Here is SI's list again:

Charlie Haas - Purchased drugs as late as January 2007.
Chavo Guerrero - Purchased drugs as late as May 2006.
Edge - Purchased drugs as late as February 2007.
Funaki - Purchased Somatropin in March 2006.
Gregory Helms - Purchased drugs as late as February 2007.
John Morrison - Purchased five different drugs as late as February 2007 .
Mr. Kennedy - Purchased three drugs between October 2006 and February 2007, including testosterone, which is an anabolic steroid. Kennedy sternly claimed in a recent interview entitled 'WWE Stopped My Steroid Use' that he completely stopped doing steroids as soon as the WWE Wellness Policy was implemented. You can read the interview at this
link.
Randy Orton - Purchased drugs as late as February 2007.
Umaga - Purchased Somatropin as late as December 2006.
William Regal - Purchased drugs as late as November 2006.

Of the ten listed, two currently hold WWE Championship belts, two more are involved in a major storyline, four more are active performers, and two are out indefinitely due to injury.

The following five WWE wrestlers were listed as being clients of the Signature Pharmacy as well, but their names didn't turn up on Sports Illustrated's list. It should be noted that Anthony Carelli aka Santino Marella didn't sign a contract with WWE until 2006, and the WWE Wellness Policy was implemented early that year, so it would be wise to assume that the following wrestlers haven't been totally cleared yet in regards to a possible suspension just because their names weren't listed in the Sports Illustrated article:
Batista
Chris Masters
King Booker
Santino Marella
Simon Dean
The following five wrestlers are no longer contracted to WWE. Three are deceased, one was recently released, and Stamboli's WWE status is unclear at the moment.
Brian Adams
Chris Benoit
Eddie Guerrero
Johnny Stamboli
Sylvain Grenier

What a shame, It took the death of a family to make the WWE do something. I guess we should be thankful that more wrestlers are not dead. I think that Mark Mero deserves some of the credit here, he has been trying to blow the whistle on this issue for years. No one would listen to him, I bet they feel really stupid right now.

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers ADOPTIVE Father a Pedophile

THE adoptive “father” of Bend It Like Beckham star Jonathan Rhys-Meyers sexually abused a 15-year-old boy, a court heard yesterday.
Christopher Croft, 66, allegedly attacked Nasser Ben Hassine after drugging his lemonade, leaving him unconscious.
Nasser, now 18, claimed the abuse started in 2004 at Croft’s home in Taghazoute, Morocco, and went on for 18 months.
Three other witnesses — including a German neighbour who reported Croft to a child protection group — claim they often saw him taking kids into his house. One said he saw him nude on his bed with kids.
Croft, who has denied the accusations since his arrest, was remanded in custody by the court in Agadir.
Rhys-Meyers, 30, who also starred in Mission Impossible III, moved in with Croft in Ireland when he was 16 and lived with him for a few years.

Johnny Depp Kennels His Dangerous Dogs

Johnny Depp kennels dangerous dogs

NEW YORK: Veteran Hollywood actor Johnny Depp kennels his two aggressive Rottweilers at a California pet club because he cannot take the risk of having them around his young kids. The movie star pays hefty fees at the Crossroads Country Club Pet Resort to house his pets, contactmusic.com reported. "Johnny can't bring himself to have them put down, so he pays $2,000-a-month on each dog for them to be kept in a kennel," a source was quoted as saying.

Burton told to Brutally Slash Sweeney Todd

A cut-above- Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd in latest film

Award-winning director Tim Burton has been told to butcher his own film, in which Johnny Depp plays the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Sweeney Todd.
Studio executives became a tad squeamish when they viewed grisly footage of blood splashing across the set as Depp slits the throats of his customers in the movie, based on Stephen Sondheim's stage musical.
In its present form the film would merit an 18 rating, but Warner Brothers would prefer it to have a 15.
During filming at Pinewood studios, prosthetic lookalike limbs were used (obviously the real thing would have been taking realism too far!) and they were so gruesomely lifelike that some of the crew became nauseous and had to take fresh air breaks.

Those on set were further spooked because there were piles and piles of sliced-up 'corpses', plus several spare 'necks' in case Burton wanted to shoot several takes of the same throat-cutting scene.
Four crew, stationed out of camera range, would pump up blood as Johnny/Todd slashed away, singing as he worked.
In the movie, Todd's victims are sat in a mechanical chair, their throats are cut and as Johnny flicks a switch, the floor opens and they slide down a chute into the lair of Todd's mistress, Mrs Lovett (the pie maker) played by Helena Bonham Carter.
Mrs Lovett uses Todd's 'gifts' to fill her meat pies!
One scene that particularly bothered the studio bosses was when they saw a ten-year-old boy cutting up body parts, which were then thrown into a meat grinder and turned into mince.
"Tim's not happy that the studio is asking for so many cuts to the cutting, as it were," someone connected to the film told me.
"The thing is, the studio really likes the film and they want to make it accessible to as big an audience as possible - which means stemming the blood flow. But that's a bit difficult for a story involving a guy who gets high slitting throats."
The movie also features Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall, Sacha Baron Cohen, Laura Michelle Kelly and Peter Bowles.
It opens in the U.S. in December, which led Burton to quip recently: "Red is the color at Christmas."

Nick Hogan, Speed Racer or Idiot You Decide?

From TMZ website:
TMZ has obtained three traffic citations Nick Hogan received in the last year -- and he's only had a license for one year ... AND that doesn't even include this week's crash. Go speed racer, go! In the first incident, on Sept. 17, 2006, Nick was pulled over for doing 115 mph in a 70 mph zone. That's not even close! He completed traffic school for that one. For his second offense, Hogan (real name Nicholas Allan Bollea) was clocked doing 57 in a 30. Ha, child's play! And for his third bust, the little Hulkster was clocked doing 106 in a 70. Apparently, he never learned.

Prayer Vigil for Hogan's Latest Victim

FROM TMZ website:

An emotional prayer vigil was held yesterday in Clearwater, Fla. for John Graziano, the 22-year-old marine who was critically injured in Nick Hogan's car crash on Sunday night."He is still in very critical condition, but coming out little by little. He is in the ICU and we need people to continue to pray," said Ashley Berry, Graziano's girlfriend. Also in attendance, Graziano's sister Christian, who said, "We have complete faith that he is going to recover and be completely fine." No one from the Hogan family showed up at the vigil, but Ashley said they have been by Graziano's bedside since the accident. Local defense attorney J. Kevin Hayslett has been hired by the Hogan family. TMZ contacted him today but he refused to comment on the investigation.

Billy Corgan says American Women are Sluts!

Billy Corgan

The ‘Tonight, Tonight’ rocker spoke out against a legion of US females at English music festival Reading on Sunday, but excused his comments because he is ‘an alternative’ star. Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has launched a scathing attack on American women — branding them “sluts.” The ‘Tonight, Tonight’ rocker spoke out against a legion of US females at English music festival Reading on Sunday, but excused his comments because he is ‘an alternative’ star. Halfway through the band's set, he caught sight of a woman in a skimpy outfit to which he said, “There’s something about a girl who’s willing to take her top off so quickly.” He told the crowd, “American girls are sluts too. Isn’t it great to be alternative? You can say all those things.”

Britney Spears Hires Private Investigators

K-Fed and Britney : In happier times

Detectives from Javoric’s agency have been watching Federline’s every move as he parties in Las Vegas, and are especially keeping a close watch on who comes and goes from his suite. As they get set to battle over the custody of their sons, Britney Spears is trying to get an upper hand on Kevin Federline by reportedly hiring a top California private detective to monitor her ex hubby. Britney is said to be reacting to Federline serving her friends and her aides with subpoenas to testify in the custody trial. And she’s now turned to Lisa Javoric to dig up dirt on her ex husband. Detectives from Javoric’s agency have been watching Federline’s every move as he parties in Las Vegas, and are especially keeping a close watch on who comes and goes from his suite, a source tells In Touch Weekly. "The detective watched him intently as Kevin partied in public areas of the hotel. He made a note of everyone who went into his suite," Contactmusic quoted the source, as telling the publication. Britney is said to be hoping that the information the PI gathers will be enough to ensure that she gets custody of the couples two young sons - Sean Preston and Jayden James. Federline, in the meantime, has managed to serve Britney’s former manager Larry Rudolph with papers to testify in court.

Michael Lohan To Visit Lindsay in Rehab

NEW YORK, NY (August 30, 2007) — Michael Lohan will be paying a visit to his estranged daughter, Lindsay, according to sources close to Michael.
Our sources said that Michael will be going to see her in Utah, where she is currently in rehab at Sundance’s Cirque Lodge.
Michael, who served nearly two years in New York State Prison for driving while intoxicated and other charges, has publicly yearned to reunite with Lindsay since his release in March.
“Lindsay has had the choice since she was 18 to see Michael. It’s her choice,” a source reportedly told
People on Wednesday. “And this time around, her brother and mother talked with Lindsay and convinced her to allow him to come.”
According to People’s report, multiple sources said that Lindsay’s attorney, Blair Berk, helped negotiate the visit with Michael.
New York Post’s Page Six first reported on the visitation, with a source saying that Michael would visit Lindsay “later this week,” and that counselors would be present for the meeting.
Michael has been embroiled in a long divorce battle with Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan, but the two came to a settlement on Aug. 17. Part of the settlement included allowing Michael to visit his younger children, Ali and Dakota, through the process of“therapeutic reunification.”
Michael’s legal visitation rights do not apply to Lindsay, since she is not a minor. However, bringing the family back together has been a focus for him. In an earlier interview, Michael blamed the family struggle for many of Lindsay’s public problems and said reconciliation could help solve some of his daughter’s issues.
“Look, let’s be serious. The writing is on the wall. When we were a family, did you see any of this going on? It wasn’t until we were torn apart, at the pinnacle of Lindsay’s career no less, when people came into the picture did everything fall apart,” Michael said.
Maybe he's on to something here, It can't hurt at this point for Lindsay to see her Dad, He can do no more harm to her than LiLo's mother does on a daily basis. After all, family may be all she has left, I keep hearing that her career in already been flushed down the toilet. Especially with the latest drug test failure. See previous post.

Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown Going to Court over Daughter

Bobby Brown and his wife Whitney Houston arrive at Vanity Fair's Oscar party in Hollywood on March 25, 2001. During their 14-year marriage, Brown was arrested for drugs and alcohol, and Houston twice entered drug rehab programs.

ORANGE, Calif. - Bobby Brown claims in a lawsuit that Whitney Houston has kept him from seeing their teenage daughter.
“I have not seen or spoken to my daughter since early June and I have no prospect of speaking to her anytime soon due to Whitney’s actions,” Brown declared in Orange County Superior Court filings released last week.
Brown has been trying to overturn a judge’s default judgment to nullify the couple’s marriage and grant Houston sole custody of 14-year-old Bobbi Kristina.

During a court hearing in April, Houston testified that Brown was “unreliable” and that she didn’t need spousal or child support.
Brown disputes her claim, saying he’s been involved in their daughter’s life and was her primary caretaker when the couple lived in Atlanta.
When Houston moved to Orange County to undergo drug rehabilitation, Brown said he paid about $10,000 for his wife and daughter to stay at a posh hotel. “At the same time, I basically lived out of my car,” Brown said.

In other court filings obtained by the syndicated entertainment TV show “Extra,” Houston disputes that she is keeping Brown and their daughter apart and says she “would like him to be involved” in Bobbi Kristina’s life.
“Frankly, I needed to be divorced from him so that I could get my life back on track,” the singer said. Houston, 44, and Brown, 38, wed in 1992, when she was at the height of her fame as a Grammy-winning superstar known for hits such as “I Will Always Love You.” Brown, a former member of New Edition, gained solo fame with singles such as “Don’t Be Cruel” and “My Prerogative.”

During their 14-year marriage, Brown was arrested for drugs and alcohol, and Houston twice entered drug rehab programs.

LOHAN TESTS POSITIVE FOR DRUGS DURING CURRENT STAY AT REHAB IN UTAH

Lindsay Lohan Tests Positive for Drug Use While In Rehab!
LINDSAY Lohan has reportedly been caught taking drugs in rehab. The Mean Girls star was allegedly forced to undergo a drug test by staff at Utah's Cirque Lodge facility, and the results came back positive. Lindsay, 21, has now been warned if she does not stay clean she will be thrown out of the center.
A source is quoted as saying: "Lindsay got called into the director's office on August 15 and was questioned about drugs. When ordered to take a drug test, she reluctantly complied but screamed and cursed at the medical director before storming out the room. She was told that if she couldn't conform to the program she'd have to leave." - AP

Will she ever learn? Not until she's in prison (which won't happen anytime soon) or six feet under!
Remember LiLo's own words, "I can't get in trouble, I'm a celebrity!" We scoffed at that statement when she made it, but she may know more than we do, because she can obviously get away with drug use, soon we'll be saying She can get away with murder too! It's only a matter of time in this bloggers mind before she kills someone, my guess is she'll be connected to a drug overdose in some way shape or form.

Why are we so fascinated with this Drama Queen?
If only we'd stop writing and reporting on her, maybe we could make her just go away?? Just a thought?

Britney Spears Child Abuse Claims

Britney Spears child abuse claims revealed in court
August 29, 2007

BRITNEY Spears is under investigation for child abuse allegations that her sons have poor dental hygiene, eating and sleeping habits, it has been revealed. The allegations, lodged with Department of Children and Family Services, are contained in legal papers filed yesterday by Federline's attorney, suggesting it might have been Federline who lodged the complaint. Spears, 26, is currently battling ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody, and the allegations involve her two sons Sean Preston, 23 months, and 11-month old Jayden James.

The Daily Mail reported today that Spears gives her sons bottles of fizzy drinks and lets them snack on sugary food. The allegations were reportedly raised at an unscheduled hearing yesterday at Los Angeles Superior Court. Although Britney was not present, her lawyer, Dennis Wasser, was said to be there along with Mark Kaplan, who represents her estranged husband, Kevin Federline. Federline is also said to have served legal papers to a string of witnesses who can allegedly testify about her chaotic behaviour.

Spears's recent off the wall indiscretions, which include a topless swimming pool romp with a stranger earlier this month, have led Federline to seek full custody of their children. The troubled pop star's ex manager Larry Rudolph has continued his support of Spears, saying he would still support her. TMZ.com reported today that Rudolph said in a statement: "Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she's coming from and why she's said the things she said about me post-rehab and I don't take it personally. ''As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she's going through. ''With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. ''I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I'm trying to avoid being brought in to this mess.'' In April last year, child welfare officials visited Spears's Malibu mansion after she was spotted driving with Sean, then just four months, sitting on her lap. Although she was reprimanded for not using a child seat, she was not charged with any offence.

With the break-up of her marriage, the wayward star has seemingly spiralled out of control and is involved in a bitter rift with her mother, Lynne. Spears has been in and out of a rehab clinic and caused a sensation when she shaved her head in February. Just last week, she was said to have spent the night in a Beverly Hills hotel with magician Criss Angel, 39, after a night drinking Dom Perignon champagne. The wild night came just hours after she left a midday summit with her solicitors over her looming custody fight in tears, according to reports. Website TMZ said a hearing in the custody case, following up from yesterday's appearance, has been scheduled for September 4. A spokesman for Spears has not yet commented.

No Drugs at DMX House

Substance found in DMX raid not drugs-DMX speaks to the media as his wife Tashera looks on in this Jan.13, 2006 file photo, in New York.

Sheriff's deputies raided the home of rapper DMX on Friday, August 24, 2007, seizing several pit bulls but making no arrests. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office received a tip more than a week ago about dogs being kept in inhumane conditions at the Phoenix-area home, said Sheriff Joe Arpaio.(AP Photo/ Louis Lanzano, file)
PHOENIX -- Investigators said a chunky textured substance seized from the bedroom of rapper DMX was not an illegal drug.
"We're still looking at what type of powder that is," Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Tuesday. "But we did seize a useable quantity of marijuana. He does have a drug situation there."
Sheriff's deputies found three dead dogs, guns, ammunition and drug paraphernalia at his Cave Creek residence Friday. Arpaio said officers were working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to determine whether DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was legally permitted to possess the weapons.
Authorities were looking into how the dogs died. Deputies found 12 other dogs that appeared malnourished. But none looked like they had been used for fighting, Arpaio said.
No charges have been filed against the rapper.
DMX, meanwhile, said through his attorney he was innocent of any wrongdoing and had not been home for "several months." Sheriff Arpaio said neighbors saw him within the past three weeks.
Sheriff's deputies made a series of visits to the rapper's home after an Aug. 7 report of neglected pit bulls. They found a man caring for several dogs during an Aug. 22 visit but he told them he was going on vacation and didn't know who would replace him, according to a search warrant affidavit.
The man, identified as Brad Blackwell, said he had only agreed to take care of the dogs for a couple of days until DMX could find someone else. According to the affidavit, deputies were told that DMX's manager had been sending him money for dog food through Western Union.
The rapper has had previous run-ins with the law. In June 2006, Scottsdale police cited him for carrying a concealed handgun outside a nightclub.
He also served 70 days in jail in 2005 for violating his parole following a 2004 incident in which he posed as an undercover federal agent and crashed his sport utility vehicle through a security gate at Kennedy International Airport.
DMX recorded the 1999 hit single "Party Up (Up in Here)." His last album, "Year of the Dog ... Again," was released last year.
Nick "Hogan" Bollea was racing, crash witness says

A witness to a car crash that critically injured a passenger in Hulk Hogan's son's vehicle said that before the accident the cars involved were racing.
The Associated Press reported that a registered nurse from Plant City, Fla., said she saw 17-year-old Nick Bollea's Toyota Supra and a Dodge Viper "revving their engines and racing between traffic signals" Sunday night in Clearwater. Then she said she saw Hogan's son -- Bollea -- "smash his Supra into a median and spin into a palm tree."
The AP reported that a Bayfront Medical Center spokeswoman said Bollea's passenger, 22-year-old John J. Graziano of Dunedin, remained in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center.
Police are still investigating the accident, but they said excessive speed contributed to the crash.
While Hogan is used to the limelight, other members of his family have gotten their share of it lately through VH1's "Hogan Knows Best" reality show.
